Buy it in the Wholefoods Kitchen or make it at home!
This is based off a recipe in one of the old Australian Women’s Weekly recipe books. Still to this day, those recipes are some of my old favourites. This is even great in tacos instead of straight shredded lettuce.
- ¼ green or red cabbage, shredded
- 1 red onion, sliced thinly
- 1 Lebanese cucumber, sliced
- ½ cup chopped coriander
- 2 tsp grated lime zest
- 1/3 cup limejuice
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil (I prefer salute from Boort)
- ½ tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Combine cabbage, red onion, cucumber and coriander, mix. Combine lime dressing ingredients and mix well. Add dressing to salad, toss and serve.
